Apple is widely speculated to be working on a low-cost iPhone dubbed as ‘iPhone 5C’ and is expected to release it alongside iPhone 5S later this fall. Images of this rumored iPhone 5C continue to leak. In this recent round of leaks, an emerging insider Sonny Dickson has published an extensive photo gallery of purported rear shell of the upcoming iPhone 5C.
The latest crop of leak brings the highest-quality photos of the new iPhone 5C casing that we have seen thus far. Not only this, a prominent poster on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo, also claims the iPhone 5C in China will be priced at 3000 yuan, which is equivalent to $490 and in line with current pricing on the iPhone 4 (via phonearena).
If Apple sets $490 price tag for iPhone 5C, then it would mean an end to iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S life cycle because another iPhone at that price range doesn’t make sense.
