Following recent rumors and speculations about a gold-colored iPhone 5S along with black and white options, today MacBoutic posted images of allegedly showing the rear casing of the gold-colored upcoming iPhone 5S.
It’s difficult to confirm the authenticity of these photos but these photos give a good idea of what the rumored gold/champagne colored iPhone 5S would look like. The source of photos says it “deliberately blurred the highly “Apple” logo and the words “iPhone” on the back of the chassis.”
KGI’s Mingchi Kuo, who has a good record when it comes to predicting Apple products, was the first reliable source to report about a gold-colored iPhone 5S alongside a new 128GB option. He also mentioned in his report that the upcoming iPhone will feature 1GB RAM, A7 chipset, 8-megapixel camera with larger F/2.0 Aperture and a sapphire home button with fingerprint sensor.
Gold color doesn’t fit in what we’ve seen from Apple’s product design team in recent years. Only time will tell whether a gold color iPhone 5S is real or not. Apple is expected to unveil iPhone 5S alongside a low-cost iPhone 5C at a media event on September 10th.
