Apple has unveiled iOS 7, their latest and greatest mobile operating system at WWDC. The iOS 7 is no doubt the biggest update to its mobile platform since the original iPhone launched back in 2007.
In line with the rumors and reports, Apple has completely overhauled the design and user interface of iOS and it brings significant new features. In this post, we’ll give you an overview of iOS 7 and its new features. We’ll be discussing these features in details in the coming articles.
Lets start with lock screen that come in minimalist design in iOS 7 where slide to unlock slider in now transparent, camera grabber has also been relocated, notification center can be accessed from lock screen and lockscreen now supports animated backgrounds.
iOS 7 is completely redesigned with subtle motion, an elegant color palette and distinct, functional layers that make it feel more alive. The typography has been refined for a cleaner, simpler look, and the use of translucency and motion makes even simple tasks more engaging. iOS 7 has hundreds of great new features, including Control Center, Notification Center, improved Multitasking, AirDrop, enhanced Photos, Safari, Siri and introduces iTunes Radio, a free Internet radio service based on the music you listen to on iTunes.
