Since the first rumour about Apple’s 7.85″ iPad mini with slim side bezel on the sides just like an iPod Touch, many iPad Mini mock-ups based on the available information has started to popup. Macrumors, in collaboration with CiccareseDesign, has created a new set of 3D renders and even a 3D model of the iPad Mini.

In coming up with this particular design, we’ve drawn from the numerous rumors, part leaks, and work by case manufacturers who are trying to determine what the device will look like in order to have their products ready for sale as soon as possible. What we’ve come up with is a thin design measuring at roughly the same thickness as the iPod touch and carrying thinner side bezels than seen on the top and bottom of the device.
One notable difference between these renders and the iPad Mini 3D renders that we posted earlier, is the location of the the headphone jack which is located at the bottom in these mock-ups. This re-location is the result of several leaked photos of new dock connector which shows headphone jack located next to the dock connector.
