Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 is now available for download. The iPhone Dev-Team has released Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 which lets you downgrade iPhone 3GS, 3G baseband06.15.00 to unlockable baseband 05.13.04.

Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 baseband downgrade not only make your iPhone 3GS unlockable with UltraSn0w, it also fixes the GPS issues incurred due to flashing iPad baseband 06.15.00 and also brings back restoring stock IPSW.

You can update your iPhone 3G or 3GS to 06.15 solely for the purposes of downgrading to 05.13.04. Please note that iPad baseband 06.15.00 is not compatible with iPhone 3GS new bootrom units (manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later).  If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS!  It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone!  Be warned!

    Trying to downgrade baseband, but iPhone is getting stuck on Apple screen after running downgrade.

    It does not work. I have tried about 10 times but to no avail. I have a 3gs with ios=4.2.1 and BB=6.15. Any tips would be appreciated

    Baseband is empty and wifi has been disabled after this update in my 3gs 5.0.1.

      that’s what happens when you do NOT read the IMPORTANT part.. You just flashed your new bootrom 3GS and bricked it.

        I have three iphones that this happened to 1 3gs and 2 3g’s. I have played with em off and on for months now and finally got the right mix on one of them and now have it back to jailbroken and unlocked. it was a 3g and I do not know what exactly I did different this time but I got all the IMEI stuff back on it now and the wif fi works and the thai sim I tried in it ,as I am in Thailand works. I may try this downgrade thing now and see if I can make that happen too. Who knows may get lucky.

          Only the NEW_BOOTROM 3GS is not reversible, atleast with any available solutions. Others can be fixed.

    please help…i jailbreak my iphone 3GS its BB is 05.16.05 after i jailbreak it…i can’t make any call…just receive call…lost the ‘phone’ icon…now it’s like a ipod more than a iphone…anyone can help me?? please
