Download Corona Injector CLI Jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 [Windows & Mac]

iPhone Dev-Team has released the Corona Injector CLI (Command-line interface) jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2. CLI Corona Injector is available for both Windows and Mac OS X. You can download Corona Injector CLI for Windows and Mac from the link below…

Corona Injector CLI Jailbreak provides an alternative to the Absinthe jailbreak tool (GUI). We must warn you that Corona Injector CLI is not as easy as clicking a “Jailbreak” button. It consists of command lines that a users will perform himself to achieve the jailbreak. It’s definitely not for the feint of heart

iPhone Dev Team describes Corona Injector CLI as:

iPhone Dev have also incorporated the exact same flow into an alternative command-line interface (CLI). This will allow us to help users through individual steps of the jailbreak manually, to both help the user and help improve the overall flow. Although the CLI will also allow the user to perform the entire jailbreak from beginning to end, we anticipate it will be more useful in debugging the occasional errors. The CLI currently has over 20 individual options (in addition to the single “jailbreak” option) that should be useful during debug after the GUI release.
The OS X and Windows version of the CLI mentioned in the post can be downloaded here. It’s primarily to help us debug specific issues, but tinkerers might like to play around with some of its advanced options! More info is here.
Version 0.4.3 makes the “-j” jailbreak option much more functional 🙂 See the README.txt for usage.

I don’t have a Mac yet, but my iPhone 4S is now jailbroken. Thanks Dream Team for your dedicated work, works like a charm. Was able to jailbreak from start to finish using CLI in under 10 minutes.

If you get Bad file descriptor (1266) error, try restoring the device as a new device, than jailbrake it, and than restore from a backup in itunes. It worked for me.
