Gizmodo Brazil has got their hands on to a few photos of a new iPhone taken from a Foxconn factory in Brazil. This new-SKU iPhone looks just like the old iPhone 4 but has a model number N90A that does not currently exist (see the picture of a Foxconn Brazil quality control form below).
There’s a Foxconn factory in Brazil, and Pedro & co got one of their men inside. Inside, they found a new-SKU iPhone that looks just like the old iPhone 4.
Most of these photos don’t look like anything special—just snapshots of a familiar face. But when you get to the last one, a picture of a Foxconn Brazil quality control form, you’ll notice something strange: a different model number, N90A. This has already been rumored to represent a cheaper version of the iPhone4.
The device codenamed N90A has also appeared in Apple’s internal inventory system, last Wednesday. This N90A iPhone is widely speculated to be a cheaper 8GB iPhone 4 model, made in Brazil.
If the leaked photos are to be believed, we’ll likely start seeing “Made in Brazil” devices from Apple next week. The phone looks identical to the current iPhone 4, packed with less storage; 8GB. Also checkout the report about iPhone 4S, the successor to the iPhone 4 of today.
Just wait till Tuesday, when Apple will hopefully announce its next-gen iPhone. We’ll be covering the event in details, Stay Tuned!
