JailbreakMe 3.0 can jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.1 and 4.3. These steps explain how to jailbreak iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 4.3.3 with JailbreakMe 3.0 jailbreak.

For those unfamiliar, Jailbreakme is a userland jailbreak and the most easiest jailbreak solution for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. You can read more about: JailbreakMe 3.0.

JailbreakMe 3.0 Supports:

  • iPad 2 – (4.3.3)
  • iPad 1 – (4.3 through 4.3.3)
  • iPhone 4 – (4.3 through 4.3.3)
  • iPhone 4 CDMA – (4.2.6 through 4.2.8)
  • iPhone 3GS – (4.3 through 4.3.3)
  • iPod Touch 4G – (4.3 through 4.3.3)
  • iPod Touch 3G (4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3)

Follow the step by step instructions below to jailbreak iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.3 with JailbreakMe 3.0, the userland jailbreak.

ATTENTION

UltraSn0w unlockers should stay away from JailbreakMe because it recommends a fresh iOS 4.3.x restore, if you do so, it will update your baseband and you won’t be able to use UltraSn0w again. TinyUmbrella can update iPhone 4 (not 3GS) to iOS 4.3.3 and preserve baseband. Better use Sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool to jailbreak your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS.

How to Jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS with JailbreakMe 3.0

Step 1

Download iOS 4.3.3

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes;
  • Select your iPhone from the left navigation pane under devices list in iTunes;
  • Hold Down the Shift (Windows) or Alt/Option (Mac) key and click the Restore button;
  • Browse and select the downloaded iOS 4.3.3 IPSW and restore it.

Step 2

  • Make sure your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS is running iOS 4.3.3 and connected to internet;
  • Open the Safari Browser from your iPhone Springboard;
  • Input the following URL: www.jailbreakme.com

Step 3

  • Tap on the Free button;
  • Then Hit Install;
  • Wait for the jailbreak process to complete.

      lol….waste of time?!!! If see can see n00b it worked to all the others. So it’s your fault. And by just typing an address on Safari I don’t think you wasted much time….unless you are a fat slow guy who types a letter an a minute. Then yes you can complain for wasting your time. I also think you should sued them….sucker

    so i tried and it hasnt worked it brought me to a OPPS page and it wouldnt download i havent jailbroken it before so i have no clue what is going on what should i do??? i already restored it so i dont see why it isnt working

      iOS 4.3.3 is still unstable and not work with some of the tweaks from Cydia. You’re not the only one, I couldn’t even use the custom carrier logo or the keyboard. I am thinking switch it back to 4.3.2 iOS

    Amazing. Took about 10 seconds. Couldn’t believe it was so fast. When I did my iPod touch 2g, it took about 15 minutes. Works perfectly. Thanks.

    can i update using jailbreakme?
    I have an iPhone 3gs 3.1.3 baseband 5.12.01 jailbroken by jailbreakme and unlocked using ultrasnow.
    Is it possible for me to update to iOS 4.x.x?

    Hello, I need help, I jailbroke my iPhone 3gs 4.3.3, it was successfully finished. but iTunes ask me do you want update 4.3.5 then I pressed update, after that it was locked, I tried to jailbreak again, but I use iphone2.1_4.3.4 ???? restore.ipsw, after that my iphone shows me in the black screen white apple sign, so what I’ll do?

    FOR THOSE WHO END UP STUCKED IN DFU MODE OR DONT KNOW HOW TO UPDATE TO 4.3.3:
    you need the following programs:

    - TinyUmbrella (for starting TSS Server) Mac&Win (uncheck the box ‘cydia server’ or something like that)
    - Redsn0w (for putting your iPhone into owned DFU mode) Mac or Sn0wbreeze (Win)

    run tss server with tiny umbrella, then go into owned dfu mode, and restore with any ipsw u want from iTunes. after its done, you might get end up stucked in dfu mode, but don’t worry. simply run redsn0w again and check the box “just boot tethered right now”. (IMPORTANT: those, who need an unlock, should do check “install cydia” with redsnow, you cannot jailbreak your idevice via jailbreakme.com !! )
    after it has booted, you can run http://www.jailbreakme.com and voila, cydia will install! untethered!

    3914 error: u didn’t get in owned dfu mode
    16xx error: u didn’t run tss server on tiny umbrella

    i alredy have my jailbroken iphone running on ios 4.1 but i want to upgrade it with ios 4.3 can u please help and one more problem actually from last few months ,when i open my cydia it shows for essential upgrade or complete upgrade but i dont upgrade it and now my cydia is not showimg packages and other stuff ,please help in both cases any help is appreciated.
