Download iOS 4.3.4 Firmware [iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch]

iOS 4.3.4 firmware IPSW is now available for download. You can download iOS 4.3.4 firmware for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 1 and iPod Touch 4G / 3G from the links below. The iOS 4.3.4 firmware is supposed to fix PDF exploit used in JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak iPad 2.

Apple’s support document details the technical fixes:

Impact: Viewing a maliciously crafted PDF file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution

Description: A buffer overflow exists in FreeType’s handling of TrueType fonts. Viewing a maliciously crafted PDF file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.

For those who don’t know, PDF vulnerability was used by Comex in his JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 on iPod Touch 4G, 3G, iPhone 4, 3GS and iPad 2, iPad 1.

ATTENTION: Jailbreakers/unlockers must stay away from iOS 4.3.4 if they want to keep Cydia and other installed jailbreak tweaks.

How to Isntall iOS 4.3.4

Connect your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad to iTunes, new firmware 4.3.4 availability message will appear then hit the “Download and Install” button. (Not recommended for jailbreakers and unlockers)

You can also download iOS 4.3.4 firmware from the links below. Hold down the Shit (Windows) or Alt/Option (Mac) key and hit the restore button on iTunes and select the downloaded IPSW file.

iOS 4.3 was released on March 10, iOS 4.3.1 on March 25th, and iOS 4.3.2 on April 14 and iOS 4.3.3 on May 5th this year.

when i press shift and left click i cant find the file. it will not see it in the folder where i saved it….any ideas?

  In order for the file to show up, you must first change it from a “zip” file to a “ipsw” file by replacing the .zip at the end of the file name to .ipsw and then it will show up.

      Very easy.
      
      Just right-click on the “[...]Restore.zip” file, when’s it’s highlighted, simply remove the “.zip” suffix and replace/rename with “.ipsw” suffix.

        For some reason I just get a bunch aof files even when i extract it all. I changed the zip to ipsw and still. What can i do cause the little box doesnt come out/

i have i phone 4 verson 4.3.5(8L1)version I want to jailbreak this phone i already download redsnow0.9.8B4 win version and also download firmwire 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 zip file.when i extract both firmwire i did not get the same icon as your’s like ipsw file . when i extract there different types of file so how can i get 4.3.4 firmwire as your ipaw file plz help me .

  Go to the web site http://www.saurik.com/Id/12 and the article will explain what you need to do and how to go about changing your host files on your computer to trick iTunes into thinking it is communicating with apple but in reality it will be communicating with the cydia host. When you add the host source you must do it in safe mode for it to be saved. The article will also explain how this is done on a Mac.
