DreamBoard: Theme your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch [Download]

DreamBoard is a jailbreak app that competes Winterboard and lets you customize your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch by applying various themes. Just like Winterboard, Dreamboard lets you applying different themes, but in advanced way, and reinvents the way your home screens look. You can download DreamBoard from below…

Dreamboard is an Advanced Theming Platform. It takes complete control over your SpringBoard! Dreamboard lets you place anything from widgets to apps where ever you want. DreamBoard takes theming beyond just icons, or eliminates the need of Iconoclasm, SpringJumps, etc as required in case of many Winterboard themes.

Dreamboard makes it very easy to switch between any theme in just a few seconds. Simply launch, choose and apply! And, Dreamboard eliminates the need to restart Springboard (respring) everytime you make a change. Dreamboard includes a complementary copy of Endroid (HTC theme).

NOTES:

  • Dreamboard is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch although not all themes are compatible with iPad.
  • Not all themes recommended with older generation devices.
  • Tested on iOS 4.2.1, iOS 4.3.3, iOS 5 betas

I tried and didn’t like. Slows down you phone about 20Mb, not so much customization as I thought, various bugs i.e with wallpaper, clumsy editing mode. This was only with “Endroid” theme. Looking for bug fixes and more themes. Great idea though…

This was very buggy.. have tried a couple of diffrent themes, and they where all buggy…
some made my SB crash (and not just once, but often), some i could not change away from again, and needed to uninstall them via cydia to get back to my default theme..

i think it will be a great program once the themes work right :o)

Dreamboard came out like 100 years ago and you are JUST talking about it wooooww. You should only try this on 3gs and above, it uses a lot of memory therefore it slows down A LOT your 3g……And it is great, some excellent themes out there.

unfortunately I dont get the weather app to work properly. Where can I change the destination? I found a WeatherSetting folder under DreamBoard/Endroid/Widgets but whatever I try to put in, like city, country or the code, the destination never changes. I figured I put the code into the wrong place. Could you please tell me where EXACTY that code has to be filled in?

Thx

no matter which icon settings I make with any theme, as soon as I switch to another one and back to the theme where I rearranged icons all settings are gone.

So basicly I can only use Dreamboard with only 1 theme. Even switching back to the standard theme erases all icon settings made in any dream board theme.

hey mate do you have ifile? that started happening to me when i was playing around with a theme modifying it and such and i found that if you go into /var/mobile/library/dreamboard and click the little blue arrow next to your theme folder and scroll down to ownership and change both options to ‘mobile’

you may also need to go into the folder itself and do the same process to the “themename”.plist file

the way this solves the problem is the phone may not have permission to make changes to the folder resulting in it not being able to create a “current.plist” file which is what makes the changes you make stay until you decide to reset it
