Limera1n jailbreak is out now. To jailbreak iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G iOS 4.1 with Limera1n follow the steps below. Limera1n can jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPad. Limera1n is currently available for Windows OS only.

NOTE: Your iPod Touch 4G / 3G must be running iOS 4.1. iOS 4.1 download link is available below.

    nothing happens on tpodtouch 4g with recent ios version. it just restart and no cydia installer happens. i hope fix will happen soon. id tried numerous times already.

      u have to install CYdia from Limera1n app that shows up on you idevice. in that app u can install cydia.

      older baseband? install UltraSn0w from Cydia

    PEOPLE IF U WANT TO UNLOCK 4.1 U SHOULD BE CAREFUL AND USE TINY UMBRELLA WHEN UPGRADING TO 4.1 THAT WILL SAVE UR OLD BASEBAND !!! THATS WHAT I DID NOW I HAVE A 4.1 WITH 1.59 BASEBAND !!! READ MOST OF IPHONE HEAT’S POSTS BEFORE SCREWING UP !!!

    GREEN POISON GOT JUST DELAYED, IT PROBABLY WONT COME OUT UNTIL NEXT IPHONE UPDATE. FOR NOW LETS JUST USE LIMERAIN AND KEEP ON WAITING FOR MORE VERSIONS OF LIMERAIN FOR OTHER IPHONE AND IPOD VERSIONS !!!

        I have an MC model 8gb touch. Ive downloaded rain and used it in admin numerous times followed videos posted today on youtube to make sure i was doin everything right and still nothing… Is this goin on with anyone else… and does anyone have a solution

    I dont have a simcard for my iphone 4 yet, would this activate aslo my iphone as i cant get passed the inset sim card screen right now any help appreciated “newbie” (its a unlocked ipho4)

    fuck geohot his jailbreak limera1n beta 2 worked fine but beta 4 doesnt work on iphone 3gs and iphone 4. they have change the code of line that they used for the jailbreak so we cant jailbreak anymore

    can someone help i tried jb with limerain and it did all the steps just could not get the limerain bootup and i cant find limerain app to install cydia tried reboot still does not work what should i do please help by the way which itunes do we need for this

    Hey! THANKS for the upload. I am at school and downloaded Lime.

    When I open it, it says “let it rain” and to attach device. I don’t have the cord and will do it when I get home. My question is “how long does it take to jailbreak?”

    And is this the only thing I have to do? It is THAT easy aside from downloading the applesync? THANKS!

    Still does not work on my ipod touch 3g I just went to the site and downloaded the newest verizon and run as admin and follow the directions and still just apple logo on limerain logo… Thought this works on 3rd gen MC Ipods

    Qucik question, As long as i have an official carriers sim, i do not need to unlock it yes? only a jailbreak of limera1n or of green poison woul suffice? should i hold out on the unlock as well?

    i own a iphone 3gs with iOS 4.1 with 5.14.02 baseband

    and im pretty sure its the new boot rom.

    Hey evebody i know All of you are excited
    I found a way to update your firmware to 4.1
    Without updating your baseband or modem
    It will be really useful for the people that is running
    4.0.2 and want to jailbreak and unlock but want to keep old
    Base band!
    This is how:
    First download 4.1os then have your iPhone 4 o 3GS
    Ready to update
    Plug it to iTunes and then recover holding shift and look for the firmware
    4.1 your going to update
    Then update but when the process it’s on it’s half way
    Unplug your Internet service it will continue restoring but I guess the las part of rstoring is upgrading the baseband but since isn’t plug to the Internet service
    iTunes won’t do that part it will send you and error message and the iPhone
    Will stay in dfu mode
    Use tinyumbrella to kick out of recovery mode
    And listo!
    Updated but with your old base band
    Then just run limera1n and jailbreak then install cydia
    And ultrasnow this is for everybody that needs to unlock
    And preserve old basebands from 4.01 or 4.02 it was easy
    And it work for me

    First I download limera1n I was reading it and it can’t jailbreak iPod touch 2G! Then I download greenpoison again I was reading it and it can’t jailbreak iPod touch 2 G. I have helped others jailbreak there iPhone & iPod touch. So guess who is not yet jailbreak!!! ME!!!

      Sorry to tell it never worked for my iPod touch 3G. The process confirmed it was done but even after 5 reboot, the limra1n app never showed on my iPod. Too bad.
