YouTube introduces a new mobile webapp (m.youtube.com) for iPhone and Android devices. YouTube mobile site gets HTML5 revamp bringing a complete YouTube browsing experience on modern mobile phones.
YouTube Features:
- It’s really fast.
- The new user interface incorporates larger, more touch friendly elements, making it easier to access videos on the go.
- It incorporates many of the features you’ve come to expect from YouTube.com, such as search query suggestions, options to create playlists, and the ability to “favorite,” “like,” or “unlike” videos directly on your device.
- As we make improvements to YouTube.com, you’ll see them quickly follow on the mobile website, unlike native apps which are not updated as frequently.
The new YouTube Mobile WebApp with a complete YouTube browsing experience makes the native iPhone YouTube app obsolete. The only thing missing in YouTube WebApp is the lack of video uploading support from the device.
