    I have iphone 3g os4
    Baseband 05.13.04
    jailebroken
    installed ultrasnow through clydia but still unable to unlock (network tesco 02)
    any thoughts

      disable 3G first..
      install ultraSn0w
      reboot
      turn air plane mode on/off

        I have done that, all i get waiting for activation then no service. at what stage do you switch back on 3g?
        also I am using the sim from my 3gs in this 3g.this shouls make no difference should it.

    Hello,

    I have a 3GS on 3.1.2 with baseband 05.11.07 and bootrom 359.3

    I am confused with all of the options for os 4.0. Could someone suggest to me the best option, should I just wait for a jailbreak to be released (as I don’t need my phone to be unlocked) or should I upgrade with a custom ipsw ?

        Thankyou for your reply, but why should I wait will I lose something if I upgrade with the custom firmware. I thought it would give me the new os and keep my bootrom and baseband the same ?

          1. firmware does NOT update bootrom.
          2. It updates baseband + OS .. baseband update >> Locks iPhone But you don’t need an unlock. right?
          3. You need an iPhone jailbreak. @ 3.1.2 you’re jailbroken. CFW sometimes brings 16xx error and you’ve to restore official OS 4.0 if you don’t have 3.1.2 SHSH blobs saved.

          If you have SHSH blobs for 3.1.2 go ahead and try the custom firmware 4.0… anything goes wrong downgrade to 3.1.2 and wait for the Spirit update for 4.0

    Hello,
    I have an iphone 3gs which I bought in the US. I moved to Germany a couple weeks ago and can’t use it anymore. Is there a way to jailbreak it?
    I used the regular AT&T iphone sim card in the States, so there is no jailbreak on the phone yet.
    I have the firmware 4.01 05.13.04

    I’m from Italy.I’ve bought an Iphone 4 IOS 4.0.1 in the US. I’ve done Jailbreake with Jailbreakme but, Cydia is installed but when i try to search repo666.ultrasnow.com appear a message like failure, and I can’t do nothing else.
    Can you help me in anyway? Sorry for my english…Thanks a lot…

      Make sure you have internet connection to Cydia and that the ultrasn0w unlock is compatible with 4.0.1.

    i just jailbreaka my new iphone 4 with pwanage tool so i could unlock it, but maybe i did something wrong, and it upgraded the baseband to 02.10.04 and now ultrasnow doesn’t work. any help?

    or any ETA for this baseband version to be unlockable?

    hi am from malawi, and i bought a new iphone 4 and i jailbreak ed it to 4.1 with bb 02.10.04 and when i use ultrasn0w 1.2 it shows no service at the corner so is there something i should do to bring back signal?

      I don’t think iphone 4 can be unlocked any more. I prefer buying other brand. forget iphone dude, it’s not worthed.

      no deke there is no unlocking solution(software) available for the iphone 4 on your baseband. however you might want to try out other hardware unlocks like the gevey sim cards that are in the market. even those would not work when ios 5 comes in. so i would suggest you get urself a factory unlocked iphone, as it would give u peace of mind!! cheers:)
