iTunes 9.2 Beta Seeded to Developers (Mac)

Apple has released iTunes 9.2 beta for Mac OSX to developers via iPhone dev Center. iTunes 9.2 beta is required to activate iPhone and iPod Touch after installing iOS 4 GM. This iTunes beta is available to developers only.

itunesThis beta version runs on Mac OS X only. iOS 4 final release is coming out to masses on June 21st. So, the iTunes 9.2 final will most probably be out on the same day or a few days earlier.

iTunes 9.2 comes with the following improvements:

  • Sync with iPhone 4 to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on-the-go
  • Sync and read books with iPhone or iPod touch with iPhone OS 4 and iBooks 1.1
  • Organize and sync PDF documents as books. Read PDFs with iBooks 1.1 on iPad and any iPhone or iPod touch with iPhone OS 4
  • Organize your apps on your iPhone OS 4 home screens into folders using iTunes
  • Faster back-ups while syncing an iPhone or iPod touch with iPhone OS 4
  • Performance improvements make scrolling much faster
  • Apple is expected to release iTunes 9.2 later this month to coincide with the iOS 4 release on June 21.

Hey there,
If I restore to this on a Mac VMware Machine iTunes 9.2 Beta, will I be able to sync on my Windows iTunes?
