   I’m a user from asia..currently i upgrade my iphone to os 4.0..and i try to use sn0wbreeze-V1.7 and also download the firmware from upper..but i cant install it into my iphone..the itunes said there is a error occurred (1604)..can someone tell me what happened??plz..

   Just noticed YouTube not working. ‘Cannot connect to youtube’ error. Is there a fix? Can I jailbreak using snowbreeze 1.7 from already JB iOS4?

     Heat,
     just found your post about the new YouTube mobile site m.YouTube.com
     It works as a good substitute since my YouTube app isn’t working. I installed the icon to my homescreen and I’ll use that instead.

   Hello,

   I have downloaded the iPhone1_2_4.0_8A293_Custom_Restore_Activated_Multitasking.zip.004/.003/.002 & .001 files each and i can not find the IPSW file for redsnow to use. Can someone help me? Is there something else i have to do to get the IPSW file? I have a IPhone 3G and the firmware is 4.0.1 Also i cant remember the BB cause i cant open my iphone.

       You no longer need custom ipsw, Install firmware4.0.1 from iTunes then jailbreak with jailbreakme.modmyi.com from iPhone browser, then unlock with ultrasn0w in cydia.

     I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G on 3.1.2(Firmware 04.26.08) I am downloading the the custom activated ones, do i put my phone in recovery mode and ‘Restore’ in itunes using the one im downloading or do i need to do something else.

     Like every1 i just dont want to screw my phone up, any info is appreciated.

   even if i upload the custom IPSW, it wont help you. coz you still have to modify the host file and shsh blobs and tiny umbraila.

   the best is jailbreakme.modmyi.com go there and very easy to JB.

   yes restore 4.0.1 ipsw original and open from iphone browser jailbreakme.modmyi.com and slid to jailbreak.

   hope it would helps.

     The ipod jailbreak has many variables to consider when determining jailbreak options. Go to jailbreakmatrix.com and find ipod 2G, click the link “whick ipod do I have?”,
     Whether or not you can jailbreak depends on what ipod family, version(MC or other), firmware version.

    Hi, I have an iphone 3GS new bootrom, locked to AT&T, loaded with 3.1.2. i jailbroke it using blackrain and cydia, it worked fine and was able to use it outside US, until yesterday it froze and while trying to reboot, i realized that i was getting the recovery mode. i am trying to restore original firmware with no luck at all, always eror 1604, i tried all way possible and read all threats. i am afraid the problem is in my 3gs and not itunes, since i tried more than 3 pcs with different itunes version.
    my question is what version shall i restore and how and does it need to be a custom firmware or original. now my iphone seems to be useless and i hate to feel that.

      Don’t play anymore man, if you upgrade your baseband to 5.14, your iphone is nothing but an iPod

      Read carefully about SHSH, TinyUmbrella if you want to restore to your required firmware while still keep your baseband as is.

    My iphone 4g with firmware 4.0.1 dont reboot(i TUR ON MY PHONE AND THE LOGO APPLE STOCK ) I try to restore with itunes 10 and all firmware 4.0, 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 and i got this error 3194

      Did you activate your iphone with original sim, if you have such sim, connect your iphone to iTunes, insert your sim in; or use all-in one sim card if you don’t.

        I have a 3gs jailbroken & unlocked ios 4.0.1 which is stuck on apple logo. I tried to restore custom ipsw 4.0.1 downloaded from web. when doing this i get error msg 3194 in itunes saying “this iphone cannot be restored” Pl help me.

    I have an Iphone 3Gs, ios4.0, baseband 05.13.04, new bootrom. Can this be unlocked? On your website, under ultrasn0w 0.93, it said not to use it with new bootrom.

      Hey guy, just get on wifi, point safari to jeailbreakme.con to jb, then install ultrasn0w fron Cydia, you will have your phone works, what you mentioned is iOS 4.1 not 4.0

    do you risk losing your data if you do that ? (SMS, pictures, adress book)

    or will it just update the firmware, and leave all the data that was already on the iphone ???

    Why not 1 link in the days of high speed broadband .

    Dam rapidshare makes you wait 30 mins before next download so this has been a fucking pain LOL.
