Apple has invited all iPhone/iPad developers to submit their apps developed for iPad to the App Store for inclusion in the Grand launching of the iPad store on April 3rd with the iPad release. Of course Apple wants a handful of quality apps for iPad on its launching day.
Although you do not have iPad in your hands but still you can develop and test iPad apps with iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5 available on the iPhone Dev Center.
All the interested developers must submit their iPad apps by March 27th if they want to see their app in the iPad app store on April 3rd.
9 to 5 Mac has posted screenshots of the updated iTunes Connect interface which shows separate screenshots uploading areas for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad. These screenshots are displayed in the app store in an app.
