F0recast provides all the needed information related to jailbreaking iPhone & iPod Touch and unlocking iPhone. It tells you the serial number, baseband version, bootloader version and Model of your iPhone and iPod Touch. It also tells you if your iPhone/iPod will be tethered jailbreak or not, if your iPhone is unlockable and what tools you can use to jailbreak and unlock.
