iH8Sn0w has pushed the an updated Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 v 1.5 and is available for download (Links at the bottom). Sn0wbreeze v1.5 now provide supports to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G (old bootrom) along with iPhone 3GS, 3G,2G and iPod Touch 1G.

Sn0wbreeze is a jailbreak tool for iPhone and iPod Touch just like PwnageTool, RedSn0w, BlackRa1n. It do all the work that can be done using PwnageTool and creates the custom firmware (IPSW file) to jailbreak iPhone or iPod Touch. But unlike PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 works on Windows OS.

Using Sno0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.5 you can:

  • Jailbreak iPhone 3GS (old bootrom, non-MC)
  • Jailbreak iPhone 3G
  • Jailbreak iPhone 2G
  • jailbreak iPod Touch 2G (old bootrom, non-MC)
  • Jailbreak iPod Touch 1G

Sn0wbreez 3.1.3 v1.5 can NOT jailbreak iPhone 3GS (new bootrom, MC models) iPod Touch 2G (new bootrom) and iPod Touch 3G. Step by step instructions to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 and jailbreak iPod Touch 3.1.3 are the same as posted earlier. Please follow the guide linked below to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 and jailbreak iPod Touch OS 3.1.3 with Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 v1.5.

Once you’ve jailbreak iPhone 3GS and 3G using Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.5, now you can unlock iPhone using UltraSn0w (baseband 04.26.08) or BlackSn0w (baseband 05.11.07).

For your info, RedSn0w can also jailbreak iPhone 3G, 2G, iPod Touch 1G and 2G (non MC) on firmware 3.1.3. RedSn0w guides can he found here.

    Awesome! I dunno about my iPhone 3Gs (old bootrom) but I was able to jailbreak my touch first gen using Sn0wbreeze lite 1.5 or 1.5.1 or something that was 1.5-ish. Works great. Wish the built-in boot logo was cooler though. Maybe the snowflake could be realistic ice that’s bluish and has a reflection on it. Maybe on fire too. But it’s cool.

    I am on an old bootrom.. my phone was a brick cause i was fiddling around too much. Now, I have upgraded to 3.1.3 so atleast the phone is on :-)
    Used snowbreeze to create a custom firmware but while trying to restore I am getting 1602, 1600 error… iReb also for now is not avail for 3gs.. any words of advise?

    One question please.Can i use this snowbreeze 1.5.1 in my iphone 3gs, version 3.1.2 , modem 05.11.0 for jailbreaking?
    It’s a new iphone and never try to jailbreak or unlock it before. Thanks for your advice.

      do NOT attempt anything unless you’ve SHSH saved at saurik server.. else you’ll be forced to update to OS 3.1.3 which is a dead lock ATM

      Nope… they have the exploit.. I think they are waiting for OS 4.0
