Download Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 v1.4 to Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.3

iH8Sn0w has pushed the final version of Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 v 1.4 and is available for download (Links at the bottom). Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.4 can now jailbreak iPod Touch 1G along with iPhone 3GS, 3G and 2G. Sn0wBreeze previous version was little buggy for iPhone 3GS jailbreak, it’s also fixed in Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.4.

Sn0wbreeze is a jailbreak tool for iPhone and iPod Touch just like PwnageTool, RedSn0w, BlackRa1n. It do all the work that can be done using PwnageTool and created the custom firmware (IPSW file) to jailbreak iPhone or iPod Touch. But unlike PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 works on Windows OS.

Using Sno0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.4 you can:

Jailbreak iPhone 3GS (old bootrom, non-MC)
Jailbreak iPhone 3G
Jailbreak iPhone 2G
Jailbreak iPod Touch 1G

Sn0wbreez 3.1.3 v1.4 can NOT jailbreak iPhone 3GS (new bootrom, MC models) iPod Touch 2G and iPod Touch 3G. Once you’ve jailbreak iPhone 3GS and 3G using Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.4, now you can unlock iPhone using UltraSn0w (baseband 04.26.08) or BlackSn0w (baseband 05.11.07).

My kid updated her iPhone 3GS 16GB (old bootrom, MB model) to 3.1.3 without asking me, now she’s very sad [too bad]. I hope Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 v1.4 will help me out, but still no luck.

  One thing is for Sure.. you can NOT unlock your iPhone, atleast for now. Wait for the baseband 05.12.01 unlock solution to come out.

  I am in the same situation. iPhone 3G was previously NOT jailbroken/unlocked. I updated to 3.1.3 and am attempting to jailbreak with sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.4 and I get an iTunes error when trying to restore using the snowbreez ipsw file. Unknown error (1604).

      iReb doesn’t seem to work for me. I followed the directions: get into DFU and click iPhone 3G. Nothing happens. Am I missing something here?
      
      It sounds like I’d have to downgrade to 3.1.2, but my understanding is that my baseband will still be 5.12.01 — is that a deal breaker?

        Downgrade to 3.1.3.. then you ll be able to jailbreak only.. no unlock for you ATM

Yeah I got iTnues error (1600) when trying restore on DFU mode and (1604) on Recovery Mode. Then I try to get into DFU (whitescreen) by IReb from http://www.ih8sn0w.com but nothing happen I think it only support for (iPhone 2G/3G and iPod Touch 1G) not for 3GS.

Yes I had 3gs 3.1.3 Baseband 05.21.01 updated the orginal from iTunes 9.0.3. I read the guide “Sn0wbreez 3.1.3 v1.4 can NOT jailbreak iPhone 3GS (new bootrom, MC models)” but I have 3gs (old bootrom, MB model) mean I can jailbreak right, but I can’t restore with CFW by Sn0wbreez 3.1.3 v1.4 becuase errors (1600,1604,etc.) so how can I jailbreak?
Please correct me if I’m wrong “who already updated with orginal download from iTunes can’t jailbreak/unlock atleast for now”

  downgrade your iPhone to 3.1.2.. and then use RedSn0w to jailbreak.. unlock is impossible for you for the time being

So I have a question, I just replaced my iphone and of course damn apple sent me a new one with the newest 3.1.3 firmware and 5.12.01 baseband, but it is an MB Model, and I noticed some threads saying NON MC models (and like I mentioned mine is MB model) can I unlock with that particular MB model? Thanks

  unlock depends on Baseband.. You’ve the latest one so unlock isn’t possible for you ATM.
