According to a KoreanTimes report, KT, the 2nd largest mobile carrier in South Korea and the exclusive Apple partner to sell iPhones, indicates that Apple is planning to launch 4G iPhone as early as April.
According to the KoreaTimes, talks over sales volumes are underway and that KT is set to sell the new iPhone 4G to its bigger local corporate clients as a “litmus test” in April this year. The new iPhone will be provided to local distributors in June.
The new iPhone 4G is rumored to be powered with the ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core processors, more powerful Graphics chip, OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screen, 5 Megapixels camera, LED Camera Flash and live video chat functionality. iPhone 4G, once released with the above mentioned rumored specs, will counter and top all the latest Smartphones currently available in the market (Nexus One, HTC HD2 etc.).
iPhone OS 4.0, the next major iPhone firmware update, is expected to be announced at the January 27th event at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. The next Gen iPhone 4G will surely be loaded with iPhone OS 4.0.
