A couple of days ago, EA’s NFS franchise released their 2nd game for iPhone: Need For Speed Shift for iPhone and iPod Touch. As always you need money to purchased, customize your cars in order to compete with other racers.

Want to get $6M in advance and purchase whatever you want to win the race? There’s a patch for that in Cydia: NFS Shift Money Patch

How to install NFS Shift Money Patch:


IMPORTANT: You need to have the game installed and start playing the game once and let the game create the game save before installation of this package

  • Of course you need to jailbreak your iPhone first.
  • Then add the following Repo to Cydia:
    http://repo.beyouriphone.com
    (add sources to cydia)
  • Go to Search tab and search for NFS Shift Money Patch and install it.

Enjoy your news cars and any kind of customization you want in Need for Speed Shift for iPhone.

    it worked on my iphone 3gs but not on my ipod touch 2nd gen
    both jailbroken and installed the same way and both have been played before and created a gamedata file?

    I was unsuccessful with the patch on my 3GS.

    Tried it with a game already saved, didn’t work. Then I uninstalled NFS, reinstalled it so there was no gamesave and still didn’t work.

    Bummer.
