Next Generation iPhone 4G to Get 5 Megapixel Camera?

According to a Digitimes source, OmniVision has received orders for 5 megapixel CMOS image sensor (CIS) for the Next generation iPhone 4G.

OmniVision is the same company who supplied 3.2 Megapixel CIS orders for iPhone 3GS. The orders are expected to be around 45 million 5 megapixel CMOS for iPhone 4G, double the order placed for 3GS 3.2 Megapixel CMOS (about 21 million).

A month ago, Foxconn, the manufacturer of devices like iPhone, Mac Mini, iPod, has also received orders for the Next Generation iPhone 4G manufacturing. So, we can expect the iPhone 4G in Summer 2010, at the annual WWDC 2010 conference, featured with the major firmware release, iPhone OS 4.0.
