Download ProSwitcher Multitasking App for iPhone

Ryan Petrich has released the ProSwitcher Multitasking App for iPhone that let you easily switch between background iPhone apps. Now there are two iPhone multitasking apps for jailbreak community:

ProSwitcher resembles a lot to the multitasking feature of the Palm Pre. ProSwitcher is out as public beta and available to download for Free.

How to Download and Install ProSwitcher

IMPORTANT: If you’ve MultiFl0w installed, you should remove it first, because you’ll either encounter conflicts between the two or the ProSwitcher won’t even work but MultiFl0w will.

  • Yes, you need to jailbreak iPhone first.
  • You need backgrounder app installed from Cydia.
  • Then add the following source/Repo to Cydia:
    http://booleanmagic.com/repo
    (How to: add source to cydia)
  • Search for ProSwitcher in Cydia and install it.

as shown in the illustration, please correct to “http://booleanmagic.com/repo”

These instructions don’t seem to work for me. I’ve added the repository, I installed ProSwitcher, and I’ve set it to activate when I double-tap the home button. But when I do that the default action for the home button triggers instead of ProSwitcher. Is there something I’m missing?

try the v1.0:

Go to Settings > ProSwitcher and set the Activation Method first

Do you mean with backgrounder app just the normal winterboard or something else?
