ProSwitcher version 1.0 has been released and is available in Cydia now.

ProSwitcher is a Palm Pre styled multitasking iPhone app that let you easily switch between background iPhone apps. Now there are three iPhone multitasking apps for jailbreak community:


ProSwitcher is developed by Ryan Petrich, the developer of Clippy and Overboard. ProSwitcher 1.0 comes with some improved performance, new functions and much smoother than ever.

You need backgrounder app install to force applications to run in the background. You can install Backgrounder from Cydia.

You can download ProSwitcher from Cydia under BigBoss repo.

    Hi ther.
    First of all, thanks for the app.
    I’ve installed ProSwitcher 1.0 and after that, a screen popped saying it would reboot the device. It has switched off and hasn’t switched on again (the pineapple screen appears and, after a while, it disappears, keeping the device off). Have I done something wrong? Is there a way to revert this?

        One more question: is it possible to restore it even if it isn’t being detected by iTunes? Should I proceed with the jailbreak again?
