Push & YouTube Fix for iPhone OS 3.1.2 BlackSn0w Unlock

Many of the iPhone users who jailbroken their iPhone using BlackRA1n and then unlocked iPhone with BlackSn0w have faced issues with their WiFi, YouTube and GPS. We have already posted a guide on how to fix WiFi and YouTube issues using the Push Fix app from Cydia. But the Push Fix app vanished from Cydia shortly after we posted the previous guide.

Now the Push Fix is back in Cydia but this time it’s called Push Fix & YouTube. By installing this updated version of Push Fix you’ll surely get rid issues like WiFi and YouTube app not working after jailbreaking iPhone OS 3.1.2 with Blackra1n and then Unlocking iPhone OS 3.1.2 with BlackSn0w.

Follow the steps below to fix the WiFi and YouTube App problems after blackRa1n Jailbreak and BlackSn0w unlock:

How to Fix WiFi, YouTube & GPS Issues

To install Push Fix Open the Cydia. Go to Manage Tab and Press the Sources button.
Press the Edit button at the top-right

and then Add button at the top-left of the screen

Input the following URL as APT Source:

http://cydia.iphoneil.net

or

http://fishbone.ge

Press the Add Source button

Once Done! press the big Return to Cydia button. and then Done button at the top right.

Now go to Search Tab and search for Push Fix. Tap the Push Fix from the search results.

Tap the Install button

and then confirm to install Push Fix.

Once done, Press the Reboot Device button

Once your iPhone is back ON, all the WiFi, YouTube, and GPS related issues that you faced because of jailbreaking and unlocking iPhone 3GS, 3G OS 3.1.2 with BlackSn0w will be history.

my data still not working. I do have the unlimited everything plan with my service provider. My iPhone is jailbroke anlocked… Please help

  There’s something wrong with your network settings.. try Resetting.. or else try contacting you service provider and don’t mention that you got a jailbroken iPhone :p

Hi. I have a question. I have an iPhone 2G which had OS 3.1.2 and recently required a factory reset.

I need to re-jailbreak it and am considering my options. Question: I am concerned about using Redsn0w because of all the wifi trouble I’ve heard about. If I use Redsn0w to unlock it, will I be able to connect to my local wireless network and download the Push Fix? If not, it doesn’t look like I can fix my iPhone, since I do not have a data plan.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  It’s not RedSn0w but BlackSn0w..
  Resetting network settings atleast bring WiFi back so you can access the internet

I Followed your instructions and when I install push fix & youtube and then conferm it will say running then I get a message that pops uup that says
“http://cydia.iphoneil.net
HTTP/1.1 404 not found

then i get a second box that pops up and says

HTTP/1.1 404 not found

then it says complete on the top and then reloading datae then i get the option of Returning to cydia. Not to reboot

      have been trying to get my GPS and youtube working for days…
      I managed to install push fix from http://cydia.iphoneil.net but did not work. Now I found and followed you’re latest post and works perfectly!

I have install cydia and instlled source from http://cydia.iphoneil.net but I searched package “push fix and youtube”, but I didnt see this package. I am using 3gs 3.1.2 so guys help me to fix my youtube problem.

    FIND and INstall ‘PUSH NOTIFICATION FIX’ if you search for PUSH FIX, it does not show any app with that name. so make sure to seach in the right order. Hope that Help.

pure crap ! after that no reboot and i had to restore my iphone 3GS and jb it again ! don’t use it !!!!

Well this patch just fix the youtube problem for me but no push notification, what i do was restore my iphone and JB with blackra1n and unlock it with snow with the oficial sim carrier, after that youtube and push notification’s work normally, but sometimes it does not (push notification’s).

If you iphone does not work with this patch try the new pushfix 2.0 or do what i do xD

But I just noticed that youtoube doesnt open if using WIFI connection… any idea why?

Push Fix isn’t available ATM, searched for it a few minutes ago. I can’t find the app wether @iphoneil.net nor fishbone.ge .

I only have an issue with YouTube, which says it couldn’t connect to YouTube, is anybody able to help me?

  It’s not called Push Fix & youtube anymore. I think it was renamed to Push Notification Fix. You can find it if you open Cydia and go to Changes. Search for it!

Hi, can someone provide advice on fixing push notifications? I’ve installed “Push Notification Fix” from fishbone.ge. My Youtube works but push is not working properly. I don’t get notifications from most apps that supports push, once in awhile I get random push msgs from Facebook 3.1…msgs from people that I don’t know nor in my list! Please help!

Hi how come after i add fishbone.ge or cydia.iphonell.net
and i search for push fix it does not show anything..
there is push notification fix or just push it thats all….

what should i do to make my youtube work and also my ping
so hard!

I installed Push Fix… it didn’t fix anything… I then UNISTALLED Push Fix and my YouTube began working.

However, my WiFi and GPS are still not working. I did the Rest Network Setting a good five times… has someone please got a solution for this… what good is my TomTom if I can’t pick up a GPS signal. HELP PLEASE

it seems that people are having issues finding the push fix. i have found a repo. “sinfuliphonerepo.com” without the quotation marks. you also have to reinstall all apps that use push.

yeah this fishbone.com really works i didnt able to get push fix with cydia.ihponeil.net but i tried with fishbone.com and found the push fix notification…. u have to install this .. this will surely work…

For everyone having push difficulties this will not work. However if you install Push Fix 2.0 it will work and no more random facebook messages… this is a guaranteed fix and was worth the measly $6… More info here:

hey guyz i hv 3gs with 3.1.2 version and unlocked with blackra1n n cydia. so for youtube fix i go to cydia-manage-add source cydia.iphoneil.net now it strts downloding pakage n evrything BUT DOESNT COMPLETE THIS PROCESS n STAY at UPDATING SOURCES at upper screen and DOWNLOADING pACKAGES at lower screen and bar is showing cmpltd download
my phone is proprly connctd to wi fi during dis process n but even then its not cmpltd by waitng for about an hour plz guyz help me

Hi I tried adding all the sources in order to get push fix but whenever I try to add a source it simply gets stuck at “downloading packages” and pops up a box sayin error. Any help would be apreciated thanks in advance

I jailbreak my phone using pawnage tool. I replace the housing, with a new one as the old one was broken. Suddenly the gps is not working anymore(tom tom and papago) Weird enough the maps works fine as i can get the pulsatile blue dot. Tried push fix from sinfuliphone (the other like cydia.pushfix or iphoneil.com just doesnt work, stuck in updating packages) and still have the same problem. I received the message “could not activate your cellular data network” from tom tom if i tried to use the gps, which dont need data network actually. I tried restore, rejailbreak and all and does not work as well. Any advise?

something amazing happening on my 2G running 3.1.2 I have installed Push Doctor as Push Fix Repo is down it start working fine for some time but now suddenly Push stop working although youtube and everything else working fine any solution please ?
