GeoHot Releases PurpleSn0w RC2: iPhone 3GS Unlock
GeoHot has released the PurpleSn0w RC2. Which is the second release of his iPhone 3GS Unlock: PurpleSn0w. Improvements in PurpleSn0w RC2 includes:
- 3G(the network speed) issues fixed…i’m pretty sure
- Now only patches one file, CommCenter
- Leaves no traces on your baseband after it runs. Seriously
- Much more clean and reliable.
PupleSn0w is an alternate to the Dev-Team’s UltraSn0w. In order to Unlock iPhone 3GS with PurpleSn0w, your iPhone 3GS MUST be officially activated before performing unlock with PurpleSn0w (no hacktivate support for now). Here you can find instructions on how to use PurpleSn0w:
