MuscleNerd, a guy from iPhone Dev team has warned iPhone users via Tweeter to avoid upgrading to this latest iTunes 8.2 as it breaks our sweet Jailbreaking to our iPhone.

Today’s iTunes 8.2 update changes the way your computer talks to the device. This affects things like QuickPwn and PwnageTool when they try to identify what’s connected. Also, ssh over usb breaks due to same reasons. Fixes are in the works but for now avoid 8.2.

He’s conviced that Apple had no intention to break the jailbreaking stuff via iTunes and warns users to avoid it for now and wait until Apple provides a fix to this or the great Dev Team updates there iPhone jailbreaking and unlocking toys.
