Better Pictures with iPhone OS 3.0?

While digging into iPhone OS 3.0, a Russian iPhone site has found that you may get better pictures with iPhone OS 3.0

They have posted a comparison of pictures taken with both iPhone OS 3.0 and firmware 2.2.1, side by side. A cat Picture, as shown below, is blurred by firmware 2.2.1 (right) while you can see a sharper picture taken with iPhone OS 3.0. Thirty such photos resulted in the same output.

Below you can find the difference with different snapshots.

Now think of iPhone OS 3.0 with a 5 Mega Pixel Sensor. What would be the output!
