New iPhone: iPhone Video Recording Interface Found in iPhone OS 3.0

Since the release of iPhone OS 3.0 beta firmware, iPhone community is feeling the heat. There are numerous New iPhone rumors are floating around.

As reported earlier that the new iPhone might feature a video camera. While searching through iPhone OS 3.0 configuration files some found video editing feature in iPhone which also leads to a hint for FM Radio in iPhone.

The new finding should put all the doubts whether the new iPhone will have video recording feature or not. Guyz at Macrumors has posted a screenshot of iPhone video recording feature interface that they found in iPhone OS 3.0:

This video recording interface expected in new iPhone, found in iPhone OS 3.0 Beta, is not accessible by default. They modified the iPhone OS 3.0 Beta files and tricked telling the iPhone firmware that a video camera was in place and interface appeared. The video recording interface is similar to image capturing one with an additional still and video toggle button available at the bottom right.

Other capabilities they found in the iPhone OS 3.0 Beta configuration files include:

  • Auto-focus camera
  • Magnetometer (digital compass)
  • Voice Control

Video camera in new iPhone rumors seems to be not a rumor anymore after the guys at BGR found this while playing with iPhone OS 3.0 beta:
