  24. spamito 10 February 2010 at 8:41 pm #

    hi !

winterboard seems to be the best to customize an iPhone… but I don’t have a jailbroken iPhone !!

I found a website allowing to “customize” a little the iphone springboard, by adding transparent icons on it, like iBlank.

The site is “iEmpty” (iempty.tooliphone.net), and it works for non jailbroken iphones.

… The real question is : when apple will allow full iPhone customization, so we don’t need all these tips anymore ?!?

    See you !

I did install WinterBoard, to find out once a day my phone crashing and going into safe mode in order to fix it it gives me 3 choices which RESTART is the best ..
Why it crashes and why putting my phone in safe mode ? god knows so i uninstall the app .
it was a nice great one which i had Persain calendar JALALI also as part of it .
Does anyone know why safe mode and that happened many many times and i even reinstall too but nothing matter

    • iPhoneHeat 13 February 2010 at 10:17 pm #

it’s because of an app installed via Cydia.. try uninstalling one by one to find out which one is it

      • Hamid 14 February 2010 at 5:12 am #

This was the only app that i did thru cydia , i actually removed it and everything is ok now
my question is this now that WinterBoard has persian calendar called jalali which was really nice can you tell me where and how i can get winterboard and this jalali calendar now ?
        regards
        Hamid

  27. Hamid 21 February 2010 at 2:02 pm #

Still no one could answer me ? i did uninstall winterborad as it was crashing my IPhone and pushing it to go to safe mode … but after removing winterboard i don’t have that problem naymore so do you know what is wrong with your app ? WRONG with YOUR APP ?

    • iPhoneHeat 21 February 2010 at 11:37 pm #

      It’s NOT MY APP..
and YOU are THE ONLY ONE facing this issue

make sure you let Cydia update first and then install winterboard

  28. pino 23 February 2010 at 1:35 pm #

after the reboot do i need jailbreak it again?

  29. Mikeg22 26 February 2010 at 7:43 pm #

I recently updated to 3.1.3 and had to re unlock my 2g iphone. I did so using redsnow with no issues. Once I had my phone up and running again I went to cydia to reinstall all the apps I had. Mcleaner, Mxtube, and a few others no problems. I then installed winter board and when phone went to reboot it will not turn back on at all?? I get the little apple for a few seconds and then just black screen? over and over again ? ANy one know whats up ?

    Hello,
I’m having the following problem. I installed winterboard a few months ago and it was working fine, now I try to download any theme from Cydia and it is not appearing in the winterboard. The installation seems to run correctly, but why the themes, icons, etc are not appearing in my winterboard? I’ve tried yo uninstall it several times, but it is not allowing me to remove winterboard. I’ve tried to install CyDelete, but i can not get it installed. Does anyone knows how to solve this issue?
