iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 3 Goes Live with Push Notification Improvements and more

Apple is now seeding iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 3 to registered developers for testing it out along with new built of its SDK Build: 9M2728. iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 is out exactly after 2 weeks of iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 2 release. It’s iPhone OS 3.0 3rd update. There’s no official word about the new updates but some iPhoners are reporting that the new iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 build 7A280f improvements include:

    • MMS works with modified carrier bundle on German T-Mobile network
    • Skype is locked out of 3G network calling
    • Spotlight now saves the last search
    • Speed improvements
    • USB Tethering still works
    • Random acts of snappieness™

  • Improved Push Notification service

    Ars Technica reports:
The major change in the UIKit API is that Apple has added separate types for the three notification methods: badge, text alert, and sound. Developers can register their apps for these different notification types individually for the needs of their users. Previously, apps registered to received remote notifications but controlled the type via settings. Developers we spoke to universally agreed that this was a welcome improvement.

Before that Apple released iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 1 after introducing great new features in iPhone OS 3.0 and then Beta 2 which was widely distructured to find new features hint like:
