Step 1

Press the Settings button from your iPhone SpringBoard to launch Settings Menu.

Press General from Settings Menu

Now go to About from General Menu

Under about screen you can check iPhone firmware version under Version Label

Step 5

By further scrolling down you can check iPhone Baseband version under the Modem Firmware Label

i have just bought a new ipod touch in korea, it seems exactly the same but when i go to settings to find my baseband it is simply not there, i am interested in jailbreaking it but not sure if im compatible, any help?

i download the 4.0 on my 3g phone but it was unlock, now it is on the 4.0 and back to the factory setting… what do i do. i need help….thank you

Someone help me, How do i jailbreak iPhone 3GS FW4.0 Baseband 5.13, the FW is already on my Phone and i have the .ipsw on my pc running itunes 9.2 and Vista home premium.

Hi,

I am a newbie and just received my iphone 3GS 16GB IOS 4.0 AT&T locked. I am very confused with all the research I have done.

Can someone guide me in simple steps how to unlock my phone?

My requirement is simple, I just want to use my iphone with Vodafone carrier in India. I have a valid itunes/app store id ( I also have a ipod touch) and I want to continue buying apps from app store and also sync to my existing itunes 9.2 that I currently use to sync my ipod to.

I will really appreciate help with simple steps starting from opening the iphone box.
